Boot Up Philly

As the warmth of summer fades and autumn approaches, many of us look forward to the season’s changes. However, for those experiencing homelessness, the colder weather brings a sense of dread as they face winter without basic comforts and security that many of us take for granted. In response to this, Saint John’s Hospice will host the fourth annual Boot Up Philly event on Saturday, October 19, 2024.

SJH, a ministry of Catholic Social Services, is a pillar of support for those experiencing homelessness, offering essential services that provide hope and dignity. This year, SJH aims to raise $175,000 to provide 1,000 marginalize men, women, and children new boots, winter coats, and other essential winter items.

Get Involved! Your support is crucial — whether through donations, becoming a 2024 Boot Up Sponsor, or volunteering at the event. Together, we can provide warmth and comfort to countless individuals and families in need. Thank you for helping our most vulnerable neighbors and ensuring that no one faces the hardships of winter alone.
